Eastland Tire Exhibits at MINExpo 2008
The
National Mining Association (NMA) hosted its once every four year
event “MINExpo International” on September 22-24, 2008 in Las Vegas,
Nevada. Eastland Tire was pleased to be a first time exhibitor at
this remarkable and successful event. The excitement on the trade
show floor was undeniable as industry experts, mining company
personnel and manufacturing and service companies all viewed the
latest and greatest products available to the mining industry. The
attendance for this event was at an all time high and a reflection
of the continued strength of the industry. For Eastland Tire, it was
a perfect opportunity to increase our visibility and name
recognition as a major player in the highly sought after 57” and 63”

Eastland Tire, LLC Creates Australian Subsidiary and Hires OTR Industry Veteran for Senior Sales Role
(Kennesaw, Ga.) July 11, 2008 – Today, Eastland Tire announced that the company has created an Australian subsidiary and hired Martin Fester as its Vice President Sales & Marketing for Australia, South East Asia, Africa and the Middle East.
“The creation of Eastland Tire Australia Pty Ltd and the hiring of Martin are significant steps in our goal of becoming a best-in-class supplier of OTR tires on a worldwide basis,” said James P. Berresse, president and CEO of Eastland. “Australia, South East Asia, Africa and the Middle East have vast and significant mining operations and we anticipate filling a portion of the OTR tire needs for the companies with operations in these parts of the world especially in the 40.00R57, 53/80R63 and 59/80R63 tire sizes though our agreement with Titan International.”

Eastland Tire, LLC Enters into OTR Tire Dealer Agreement with Titan International, Inc.
(Kennesaw, GA) February 4, 2008 - Today, Eastland Tire announced that the company entered into a dealer agreement with Titan International, Inc., in which Eastland Tire has secured a long-term source of Titan’s off-the-road (OTR) tires including the new 57- and 63-inch giant mining radial tires that Titan is currently developing.
“Eastland Tire was recently formed to serve the mining and construction industry needs for OTR products. Many of these products have been in short supply over the past few years and Eastland is committed to becoming a best-in-class supplier on a worldwide basis,” said James P. Berresse, president and CEO of Eastland. “Our initial focus will be on selling the full range of Titan and General branded OTR tires including the giant mining tires currently under development and establishing long-term, mutually beneficial partnerships with our customer base.”
Under the terms of its agreement with Titan, Eastland Tire will begin selling a portion of Titan’s giant mining tire production in the second quarter of 2008 and significantly ramp up its sales of these products in step with Titan’s expansion plans. In addition, Eastland now has the ability to sell all of the existing Titan OTR tires manufactured under the General brand name.
